AMOB UK has been honoured with the first ever King’s Award for Enterprise for their exceptional contribution to International Trade.

In doing this, this makes them one of only 148 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today, Friday 21st April 2023, AMOB UK has been recognised for its excellence in International Trade, one of only 78 awards in the same category presented in 2023.

AMOB UK, founded in 2017, provides one of the biggest ranges of specialised machinery for the tube and pipe bending industry worldwide. With technology installed and commissioned across the globe, AMOB UK’s influence in international trade spans as far as Australia. Industrial fabrication machinery is also present within Europe, the middle east, and Ireland, in Britain’s post-Brexit trade landscape.      

The exceptional effort of the entire staff of AMOB UK over the past few years has been immeasurable, and this achievement is testament to that hard work. We are privileged to be recognised with this achievement ‘

The King’s Awards for Enterprise (previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise) reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s, by recognising outstanding businesses in the United Kingdom. The award programme, now in its 57th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country. Successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards emblem for the next five years.

King’s Awards for Enterprise


The King’s Awards for Enterprise is an annual award presented by the British monarch, currently King Charles II, to businesses and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to enterprise in the UK. The award was established in 1965, and it is considered one of the most prestigious business awards in the UK. The awards are given in four categories: Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, and Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility. Winners are chosen based on their contribution to the UK’s economic growth, job creation, and global competitiveness.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. Since the awards were first established in 1965, 7000 companies have achieved a King’s Award. 2023 marks the first year of The King’s Awards for Enterprise. It reflects His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.

The awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes, or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices.

This year (2023) 148 businesses have been recognised for their contribution to International Trade. This includes the categories: Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through Social Mobility). A total of 149 Awards are made with one company being recognised with two Awards.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2023 includes:

  • 78 awards for International Trade
  • 47 awards for Innovation
  • 15 awards for Sustainable Development
  • 9 awards for Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility)
