AMOB UK signed off their second significant Australian project in less than 12 months: An eMOB-52-LR left and right tube bending machine.
AMOB UK’s presence on the other side of the world is expanding, despite the 10,000-mile distance. Not least, combined with the innumerable challenges to world travel in recent years, makes this accomplishment especially rewarding.
Very recently, AMOB UK signed off their second significant Australian project in less than 12 months.
Based in Adelaide, our newest business partner, suppliers of high-end manufacturing and fabrication equipment, worked in partnership with AMOB UK and their end client to install an eMOB-52-LR left and right tube bending machine.
Everyone involved worked on the same page from the start, assuring success. The supplier and their client worked closely with AMOB, sending an engineer of their own to ensure local engineering expertise always remains present in the years to come.
The capital of Western Australia, Perth was the ultimate destination for this mandrel bender. The machine is being implemented in the manufacture of fluid and air transfer lines for Perth’s metro system improvements.
Crossing paths during the previous large-Australian install, AMOB UK used their recent achievements at BAE systems as a foundation to create further strong ties in the country.
Tom was personally involved in the project from start to finish, and continued to say that the installation was one of the smoothest processes he had ever been involved with, ‘We quickly completed the installation with zero open issues or pending matters’.

LEVELS OF AUTOMATION IN AMOB MANDREL BENDERS:
Ø CN1 models control only the bend angle of the tube via NC automation. Operators of this machine are required to rotate and position the tube between bends, if necessary.
Ø CN2 models include NC bend angle operation and NC tube rotation. Operators of these machines are only required to position the tube between bends, if necessary.
Ø CN3 models include NC bend angle operation, NC tube rotation and NC positioning of the tube. Operators of these machines can run all steps from the control panel to produce a complete multi-bend part.
Ø CNC models include CNC bend angle operation, CNC tube rotation and CNC positioning of the tube. Operators of these machines run all steps with the press of a button to produce a complete multi-bend part, with the advantage of many more CNC features.
